As a piano player myself, I have always been fascinated by the different teaching methods used to impart the gift onto the next generation. I was self-taught, and unfortunately that means I developed a lot of bad habits I have had to correct over the years. In this Rocket Piano review we will discuss the pros and cons of this piano learning approach.
Over the past 30 years, a couple of regular piano type guys have really made their mark on modern popular music. They were Billy Joel, and Elton John. Elton always had a unique style and flare for performance that sometimes overshadowed his incredibly powerful creative piano structures.
Most people really remember the song Rocket Man, and associate it closely with Elton John. Some people have even dubbed him the Rocket Man himself. While I won’t claim to play on par with him, I will say that my own experience level is decent, but that Rocket Piano was even able to show me a thing or two.

As a novice I massively underestimated the importance of keeping the metric time within a musical number. As a result my music would sometimes come out really choppy. Believe me, the metronome makes a big difference, especially if you will be working in musical time signatures other than standard 4/4.
These guys really pile on the value though as the whole program is 12 full months of information that you always have access to. It is structured out in such a manner that it is easy to follow along, and even fun to learn to play the piano. Imagine that.
Having seen the hardcore piano teaching methods first hand from the nuns, I can say Rocket Piano has come a long way from smacking people’s hands with a ruler when they make a mistake. I am sure nobody enjoyed that, even the nuns.
So by taking complex musical ideas, and breaking them down into elemental parts and teaching those in a logical simplified way – you learn to play piano fast and easy. And if that was not your goal, I doubt you would even be asking about Rocket Piano. I mean, you do want to learn to play the piano, right?
Listen, I’ve been playing for 20 years. I’ve seen first-hand at least 10-15 methods, systems and programs for learning to play the piano and almost all of them were massive let downs that under-delivered, or just didn’t deliver at all.
Rocket Piano works, and it works fast, but best of all, it is FUN. Music is a creative experience and piano is one of the most expressive stringed instruments out there. We suggest you let Rocket Piano show you how to express your musical ideas through piano.
